1030   Ben Burge: A Bride From Timnah  (Judges 14:1-20)  (Venue: All Saints)

No eye has seen,
And no ear has heard,
And no mind has ever conceived
The glorious things
That You have prepared
For everyone who has believed;
You brought us near and You called us Your own,
And made us joint heirs with Your Son.

How high and how wide,
How deep and how long,
How sweet and how strong is Your love;
How lavish Your grace,
How faithful Your ways,
How great is Your love, O Lord.

Objects of mercy,
Who should have known wrath,
We're filled with unspeakable joy;
Riches of wisdom
Unsearchable wealth,
And the wonder of knowing Your voice.
You are our treasure and our great reward,
Our hope and our glorious King.

How high and how wide,
How deep and how long,
How sweet and how strong is Your love;
How lavish Your grace,
How faithful Your ways,
How great is Your love, O Lord.

Purify my heart,
Let me be as gold and precious silver;
Purify my heart,
Let me be as gold, pure gold.

Refiner's fire,
My heart's one desire
Is to be holy, set apart for You Lord;
I choose to be holy,
Set apart for You, my Master,
Ready to do Your will.

Purify my heart,
Cleanse me from within and make me holy;
Purify my heart,
Cleanse me from my sin, deep within.

Refiner's fire,
My heart's one desire
Is to be holy, set apart for You Lord;
I choose to be holy,
Set apart for You, my Master,
Ready to do Your will.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace

Turn your eyes to the hillside
Where justice and mercy embraced
There the Son of God gave His life for us
And our measureless debt was erased

Jesus, to You we lift our eyes
Jesus, our glory and our prize
We adore You, behold You, our Saviour ever true
Oh Jesus, we turn our eyes to You

Turn your eyes to the morning
And see Christ the Lion awake
What a glorious dawn, fear of death is gone
For we carry His life in our veins

Jesus, to You we lift our eyes
Jesus, our glory and our prize
We adore You, behold You, our Saviour ever true
Oh Jesus, we turn our eyes to You

Turn your eyes to the heavens
Our King will return for His own
Every knee will bow, every tongue will shout,
'All glory to Jesus alone!'

Jesus, to You we lift our eyes
Jesus, our glory and our prize
We adore You, behold You, our Saviour ever true
Oh Jesus, we turn our eyes to You
(x2)

Noah built the most enormous boat
That kept the birds and animals afloat
The Lord was good, the Lord was strong
And Noah lived his life for Him

Moses led his people through the sea
Taking them away from slavery
The Lord was good, the Lord was strong
And Moses lived his life for Him

Oh thank You, oh thank You
That all through history You were faithful
Thank You, oh thank You
That You are just the same when it comes to me
When it comes to me

David fought Goliath and he won
A humble shepherd boy became a king
The Lord was good, the Lord was strong
And David lived his life for Him.

Daniel was inside a lion's den
But God brought him to safety once again
The Lord was good, the Lord was strong
And Daniel lived his life for Him

Oh thank You, oh thank You
That all through history You were faithful
Thank You, oh thank You
That You are just the same when it comes to me
When it comes to me

Jesus died to take away our sin
So we could get to know our God again
The Lord is good, the Lord is strong
And we will live our lives for Him

Oh thank You, oh thank You
That all through history You were faithful
Thank You, oh thank You
That You are just the same when it comes to
Thank You, oh thank You
That all through history You were faithful
Thank You, oh thank You
That You are just the same when it comes to me
When it comes to me
When it comes to me
When it comes to me

Speak O Lord, as we come to You,
To receive the food of Your Holy Word.
Take Your truth, plant it deep in us;
Shape and fashion us in Your likeness;
That the light of Christ might be seen today
In our acts of love and our deeds of faith.
Speak O Lord and fulfil in us
All Your purposes for Your glory.

Teach us Lord, full obedience,
Holy reverence, true humility.
Test our thoughts and our attitudes;
In the radiance of Your purity.
Cause our faith to rise, cause our eyes to see
Your majestic love and authority.
Words of pow'r that can never fail;
Let their truth prevail over unbelief.

Speak O Lord, and renew our minds;
Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us.
Truths unchanged from the dawn of time,
That will echo down through eternity.
And by grace we'll stand on Your promises;
And by faith we'll walk as You walk with us.
Speak O Lord, 'til Your church is built,
And the earth is filled with Your glory.

He who would valiant be 'gainst all disaster,
Let him in constancy follow the Master.
There’s no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent to be a pilgrim.

Who so beset him round with dismal stories
Do but themselves confound—his strength the more is.
No foes shall stay his might; though he with giants fight,
He will make good his right to be a pilgrim.

Since, Lord, Thou dost defend us with Thy Spirit,
We know we at the end, shall life inherit.
Then fancies flee away! I'll fear not what men say,
I'll labor night and day to be a pilgrim.
